300

Never dreamt in a million years that my 300th post will be written from Chennai.
My first post was on June 8, 2009 and I think this blog has come a long way since then.

The 300th post should have been written a long time ago, however I took a year off completely (in 2011) for personal reasons.

Lots of old time readers have dropped off in recent times.
Some of the “old schoolers” still read and comment on my postings.
Of course, also had the privilege of gaining some new readers along the way.

I would like to thank all my readers for your comments and words of encouragement.
It’s you who give me the inspiration to keep writing posts.

My heartfelt thanks to all of you.

  1. You know when I saw the title 300, I thought you were going to post about that movie with Xerxes and Leonidas.
    But NOOOOO!

I also thought perhaps you were going to talk about Earl Anthony and how to have a perfect game of bowling with all strikes.
    But NOOOOO!

Ends up that you were talking about your blog.

Ok, you won't fool me again.
When you hit post 666, I'll know it's not about Damien in Omen.
When you hit post 1492, I'll know it's not about that mega-idiot Christopher Columbus.

Good job on getting to 300.
By the way, I did go back and count all the posts and it looks like you're actually at 298 (but it's all good if you wanna round up).

  5. Thanks for your comments Old Schooler. And, many thanks for your encouragements. You actually counted the number of posts and it is only 298 and not 300? Good. Now I will have to review the educational qualifications of your 5th Grade teacher, Mr. Siladi, who enrolled you in the GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Program.

  7. Congrats on reaching 300. I guess you'll be writing many more posts from Chennai. I too took a small break for 6 months or so, back in '09, but never took a break after that :)
