We love water. If we had our way, we want to be beach bums. Was looking at the Picasa albums of our previous vacations. Thought I would share a few pictures we took during our vacations. More later. These are at random and not in any particular order.
Mazatlan Beach, Mexico
Muttom Beach, Tamil Nadu, India
Venice, Italy
Cabo San Lucas Beach, Mexico
We love the water too.
ReplyDeleteWe dropped Osama Bitch Laden's body in the water...feet first. Good riddance!
Regards,
Seal Team Six
Thanks for your comments Seal Team Six. Thank God you guys did a good job this time, unlike the 1980 Iranian fiasco.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Sulagna. Is there a beldih lake in Pune also?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photography. BTW where is Muttom ??
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Chitra. Muttom is located between Nagarkoil and Kanyakumari. The entire movie "Kadalora Kavidhaigal", starring Satyaraj and Rekha, was shot here.
ReplyDeleteYou travel a lot. Lucky!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Aparna. We don't travel as much as we want to.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why are some waters more blue than others. Same way, some beach sands are more white than others? These things are natural or any artificial coloring were induced?
ReplyDeleteDestination Infinity
beautiful pictures..specially the Venice one..I dont enjoy water much, I prefer hill stations.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Rajesh. You asked a few intelligent questions. As I said, me and science are far apart. Therefore, I asked my friend, Mr. Know It All, The Cagey Bee/Who Posted This. He gave this answer:
ReplyDeleteThe color of the ocean/sea changes due to sediment in the water, depth, temperature, sunlight effectiveness, and the ocean bed.
Sand comes from broken down rocks, so if there are different rocks then the sand will end up being different colors, along with the things and creatures in the sand.
Thanks for your comments Renu. You don't enjoy water much. On your next vacation, please come with us. You will become a beach bum.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures SG!!!
ReplyDeleteI also love water a lot - be it riverfronts, beaches, lakes or ponds. There is something mystical about them which draws me to them!!
And the fact that I have had near death experiences thrice near them does not deter me at all!! :D
He he he he
Thanks for your comments Me. Three times? Please be careful.
ReplyDeleteNice photos...I am not much of a beach person...sadly...but they are very photographic places...for that I will go...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Aparna. Yes, they are beautiful places.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Though I am more of a moutain person, I love the sound of the sea. It is unfortunate that we in India have such dirty beaches. I have been to Hawaii and I was amazed by the cleanliness of the beaches there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Meera. I think you may want to visit Muttom Beach in Tamil Nadu.
ReplyDeletebeautiful pics .. reminds me of my days in Cape Town .. with very similar beaches..
ReplyDeleteMost of the people prefer seaside for great vacation times. Right now Goa is in good season and people are flocking.
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs. I am sure Honolulu beach was a wonderful experience with cliffs over looking the sea.
But in the photographs, Muttom each looks equally good.
Thanks for your comments Rahul. South African beaches are one of the best in the world.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Pattu. Long time no see. Hope you are doing well.
