R.I.P.

Damini

Damini “passed away peacefully”.  This is the official statement from the Singapore hospital.

May our beloved Damini rest in peace.  Our heartfelt condolences to her family and her friend.  Hope he recovers soon.

No one can really feel the pain and suffering she endured on December 16.

Indian law does not permit death penalty for rapists.  I am told it is 10 years maximum.  I personally and strongly feel that these rapists should and must get the same treatment as Damini got from them.

How this is possible?

Governments can do lot of secret things.  For example, I think,  transporting Damini to Singapore is a political decision.  This is to minimize the problem in New Delhi when she dies.  When so many foreigners are coming to India for surgery and other treatments, what is the need to send her to Singapore?  India has one of the best medical experts in the world.

I have a suggestion as to how to punish the rapists.  Indian law will not allow death penalty.  But they can clandestinely transfer the rapists/jailed prisoners to a maximum security prison in USA.  Many sex starved hardened criminals are here.  These Indian rapists/prisoners will be raped and murdered in a few weeks of their arrival.  I would personally like to pay these US hardened criminals money if they insert and violently screw a foreign object inside their body before their death.

  1. Absolutely gut-wrenching.
I don't have the words to describe how sad I feel about this whole incident.

But I do have some angry words for those rapists. There is a special place in HELL for those MF's. May they burn forever.

If they do come to America...that too California...they aren't going to make it to prison. They are going to eat my AK.

  3. They should be made impotent and let them live without any self-respect and bear on them all the scornful eyes. The root of many a problem is untimely, unlimited intake of liquor.

  4. How can it be only rape anymore? Now that the victim has died, can't the criminals be tried for murder instead of rape?

  9. SG, Damini or whoever she was... is a symbol of the many thousands who suffer in silence! Issue is not of death penalty. The issue is for better enforcement of whatever is the punishment that the law has set forth for such a crime- acrime that even animals do not indulge in! Ultimately, law and its enforcement can only do so much. There is a need to change the way we think and deal with each other as men and women in our society. No one is born a rapist. They become so because of what they see around them as "right" and "wrong". "Boys will be boys" is not right and if a woman says "No" every man must learn to accept and respect that!

  10. That would indeed be the perfect sentence for the rapists. And they should not be clandestinely deported, but taken in an open jeep with blackened faces and then sent in a cargo plane in the hold.

  11. The government is busy wondering how lower can it stoop. It has lost all connection with the people, and it is also deliberately taking the kind of action that will definitely make it lose very badly in the next elections.
Not a word from the UP government too.
The competition is who can be more shameless.

  12. The problem is much more deeper than it seems SG. She passed away having borne so much of pain and trauma there are many who come out alive after all this but die everyday when people look at them as if they are the culprits. There is a serious need to punish them in a way that next time such a thought passes anyone's minds the memory of this punishment should give them shivers enough to back out.

Today I was watching the victims friend giving an interview. It is difficult for us digest what we heard. Just imagine what could be going thru his mind..
