Recently Insignia posted a blog with many photos. At the end, she posted a photo and did not tell what it is. She just wrote: “And finally, a task for you all. Can you taka a guess, what this could be?”.
From that blog, I got an idea to post a photo of an object that I have and ask our friends to tell what they think it is. This is certainly not a one upmanship. This certainly follows the idiom: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Here it is. Please take a close look at this and post your comments as to what you think it is.

Post Script: The above photo object is a wine pourer. Please see the photo below. It allows you to pour wine without drips.
I have no freaking idea what that is.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Stevie Wonder
Thanks for your comments Stevie. I like anyone who jokes about his/her handicap. I still remember when Smokey Robinson presented you with an award plaque, you pretended to read for the audience and to notice a spelling mistake. This act by you brought down the house that evening.
ReplyDeleteA song written, produced, and performed by you in 1984 is still mesmerizing many millions of people, including me, all over the world. That song is: “I Just Called to Say I Love You”.
a piece of bottle maybe...it broke n u clicked a part...dunno exactly now...and please answer...or i wil be dying of curiosity for god knows how many days..
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Neha. Please wait until others have a chance to guess.
ReplyDeletelooks like a broken piece of a bottle or glass...or maybe a candle holder..
ReplyDeleteLooks like the upper broken part of Borosil kettles? or a glass cup?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Titaxy. Would I waste your time by putting a broken glass piece. It is not a candle holder.
ReplyDeletelooks like a perfume bottle cap that broke...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Renu. It is not a broken part of anything. Would I waste your time in such a silly thing?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments MM. I know you. You used to be known with a different name. Welcome back again.
ReplyDeleteIt is not a broken perfume bottle. Wait for the real answer.
Lid of a perfume bottle?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Sandhya. I don't think so. It is not a lid of a perfume bottle.
ReplyDeleteTo me it certainly looks like a plastic thing, a broken one or may be a detached one from the original piece but you are saying NO. so i would wait for the answer :)
ReplyDeleteHi SG,
ReplyDeleteGlad that you got influenced :-P
I have been staring at the photo for a long time. It looks like a broken piece of bottle neck. The angle is just upright and the background color also helps in camouflaging the true object.
I cant guess better. Nice piece of photography. I really want to know what it is. Hope you will reveal the answer
No clue :( Is it the cap of a pen..? A part of it I mean.
ReplyDeleteUmmm.. blank!
something broken.. may be plastic..
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Mustaf. Yes, it is a plastic thing. It is not a broken thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Insignia. Yes, I got influenced by your previous blog. Didn't I say before that you are my Dronacharya. The correct answer will be here by the time you wake up tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments lostworld. The real answer will be coming soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Swatantra. It is plastic but not broken.
ReplyDeleteVisited you many times, showed it to many ...some say it is a bulb, some say a perfume cap, some say it is a drug mixer or measuring cup...i will go with Stevie Wonder ...no freakin idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Kavita. You don't have to wait too long for the answer.
ReplyDeleteTo All Friends,
ReplyDeleteThe object in that photo is a wine pourer. It allows you to pour wine without drips. Please see the additional photo I have added to the post. Thanks everyone.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Nazish. It is a wine pourer.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading Swatantra's latest blog, this will come in handy for her.
ReplyDeletelooks like am late for all.. but i was close.. i thought it was one of those fancy glasses through which u take tequila shots..
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Vishnu. You are close but no cigar.
ReplyDeletewhere did i mention abt cigar.. n u gave the answer rite?? it is a wine pourer.. isnt it??
ReplyDeleteVishnu, that is a colloquial term in USA. It means you came very close but did not win the first prize.
ReplyDeletewokie.. got it.. didnt realise it.. am well versed with chennai slangs.. not with american.. gracious..
ReplyDelete:-)
ReplyDeleteIt looked remotely to me as a stopper; at one time.
Thanks for revealing it SG. I really went bonkers!!
Thanks for your comments Insignia. Why didn't you say it was a stopper? I would have given you the first prize. If you hesitate to say what is in your mind or what you think it is...you may lose the opportunity of your life time.
ReplyDeleteHi SG,
ReplyDeleteYes, But as I said, the background color of the picture camouflaged a lot.
I will mention what all it looked like to me, a broken piece of plastic bottle at its neck, a paper clip, a stopper.....
Hmm, I will keep that in mind, don't hesitate; just spew out :-)
Thanks for your comments Insignia. Just spew out? That is much better. I like it.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was it looks like part of an I/V bottle that's used in hospitals.....now I know better :-))
ReplyDeleteI would have thought it was the neck of a beaker.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your commens Jayashree.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Radha.
