Blog Post 400

This is my 400th Post.

I started blogging in June 2009. I also took a leave of absence for two years.

I want to dedicate this post to my greatest fan and severe critic. Today happens to be the second anniversary of her passing away - my dearest wife, my Life's Life, Lalitha.

May she rest in peace.

  1. Congratulations for reaching on your 400th post, SG.

Here's to hoping that Lalitha is watching you and your blog from above. I am sure she enjoys your posts as much as I do.

  2. I recall your first post and the posts before your blog SG. It was the right decision to start your blog. And I am truly blessed to have met Lalitha and spend few days with you all. You know I've not told you this yet; I liked her eyes a lot. She was a gracious woman, a woman of discernment. I still recall the idly and mulagai podi I had for breakfast and the wines we shared. I Her asking me why did I decide to write as "Insignia" is still fresh in my memory. As much as I wanted to meet you all again, I regret at the opportunity I missed when I could. I am very sure LG as I used to address her would be glad you are still continuing to blog. Keep it up, hugs and love.

    1. Thanks for your comments Dee. If she read this blog post, she would have said: Don't you have anything better to write about instead of dedicating this post to me?

  5. If the people we love are taken away from us by cruel destiny, let us take comfort from the thought that our fond memories of them can never be taken away from us and they would continue to live in our minds always. But grieve not as it would unsettle her wherever she is.
Congratulations on your reaching a milestone with 400 th post in your popular blog!!

  7. Dear Mama by Tupac...nice.
The Perfect Fan by The Backstreet Boys...awesome.

But the chorus part (hook) in
"Always something there to remind me" just keeps ringing in my ears over and over again.
Not the whole song of course...just the hook.

    Regards,
