It took revenge for the British ruling India for 200 years.
Rishi Sunak, an Indian origin in England, has been elected Prime Minister of England, unopposed.
Congratulations Rishi.
Rishi will be England's first non-white Prime Minister. As a Hindu, his victory comes on Diwali Day.
Winston Churchill is squirming in his grave.
Proud moment for us Indians
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Gowri. Now, curry smell will be all over 10 Downing Street.
DeleteOne thing stands out that the political system in UK has become inclusive in allowing its citizens from different backgrounds to be at the helm. I hope Rishi Sunak will be able to meet the expectations of the British people.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Mr. KP. I hope so too.
DeleteRishi for England, Kamala Harris for USA, and soon British will come back to india.....
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments Mr. Anonymous, a.k.a. S.S. Kamala Harris for USA? Come on!
DeleteRishi Sunak does not have much India. His grandparents were from erstwhile Pakistan.
ReplyDeleteBut he is a proud Hindu and has an Indian wife.
I doubt if India can leverage his lineage and get advantage.
Thanks for your comments Kirtivasan. He will be worrying about jobs in Birmingham, England and not about jobs in Bangalore, India.
